Welcome
to your space

In here, you are free to be authentically you.

In here you can laugh, cry, be sarcastic. Have thoughts or feelings about things you can’t voice “in the real world”? In here, you can. In fact, I encourage it. This is a space for you to express who you are. Swearing is welcome.

I specialize in working with young adults who are dealing with many types of grief or loss, life transitions, anxiety, depression, boundary issues, self-esteem, suicidal ideation, and trauma. I truly believe it is an honor to be your fellow traveler as you navigate the winding roads of whatever life has thrown at you.

Every person has a story to tell: who you are, what you’ve been through, where you’re going. The great thing about stories? If they’re not working for you, they can be rewritten. I aim to provide a safe and non-judgmental space where you can be 100% yourself as you begin your quest toward healing and clarity. I love stories and I want to hear yours.

“When we are willing to risk venturing into the wilderness, and even becoming our own wilderness, we feel the deepest connection to our one true self and to what matters the most.”

— Brené Brown

Grief & Loss

Do you feel like no one wants you to talk about your grief? Like they want you to “get over it” or “look on the brightside”? Or maybe you need support but don’t feel like you can burden others with the request? When others don’t know how to talk about or handle our grief, it can be isolating and lonely. The combination of emotions we feel at these times can be downright confusing. I want you to know this feeling won’t last forever. Whether you’re new to grief or feel stuck in it, whether you have lost a loved one or are grieving the loss of an anticipated life, I want to help you on your journey back to you.

Life Changes & Transitions

Who we were (or who we had to be) in the past doesn’t always match who we are now. We grow; we change; we develop our own ideas about the world and ourselves. And sometimes that causes us to feel stuck. Is this what change is supposed to feel like? Where are we supposed to go from here? How do we make sense of values, behaviors, or even people when they don’t match up with how we want to live now? That confusion can be lonely. You’re not alone. We all ask ourselves these questions at some point. Whether you’re experiencing this “stuckness” for the first time or the tenth, I want to help you find your way to a better you.

Hi, I’m Christina.

I prioritize creating a safe and non-judgmental space where you can openly explore your feelings, thoughts, and experiences. I approach therapy from an existential and narrative perspective, believing that the stories we tell about ourselves and the meaning we ascribe to our experiences are essential for us to know ourselves and move us toward healing.

Whether you are dealing with a recent loss, a difficult life transition, or simply feeling stuck or disconnected, you don’t have to go through it alone. I am committed to helping you find the clarity, understanding, and empowerment you need to move forward in your life with confidence and resilience.

I am a provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor with a Mental Health Services Provider designation. I graduated with my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lipscomb University. I am a full-time mental health practitioner, splitting my time between private practice and community mental health. I see clients in my East Nashville office or online via telehealth.

I have lived in and around Nashville since 2012. When I’m not working, I can usually be found under my ever-growing To-Be-Read book pile. If you find me, send brunch and/or local craft beer.
